Arrow Video has announced the release of a limited edition 4K UHD box set of some of Jackie Chans most iconic movies, all uncut and remastered.
The set includes – Drunken Master 2, First Strike, Thunderbolt, Who Am I?, Mr Nice Guy and Rumble in the Bronx.
LIMITED 10-DISC 4K UHD COLLECTION CONTENTS
- Brand new 4K restorations of each film from the original negatives by Arrow Films
- Limited edition packaging featuring newly commissioned artwork by Sam Hadley
- 160-page perfect-bound book featuring an archive interview with Jackie by Craig D. Reid plus new writing by Thorsten Boose, Peter S. Bruce, Matt McAllister, Elaine Chung and Jialu Zhu
- Twenty-four lobby card reproductions
- Reversible poster with vintage poster artwork
Each film will come with 2 cuts: the Uncut Hong Kong version and the International version. Also lots of special features are included.
Shame that it is 4K UHD only as many do not have a 4K player and are happy with Blu-ray. This has probably got to do with the licence Warners gave Arrow video for 4K only.
