The action Drama Island of Fire is getting a remastered Blu-ray release soon from 88 Films in the UK.
The film has an all-star cast including Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Andy Lau, and Tony Leung.
Four men of iron face their destinies within the harsh walls of a Taiwanese prison. Steve (Jackie Chan) is a gambler seeking to atone for his sins. Andy (Tony Leung) is an undercover cop solving a crime. Lee (Andy Lau) is a gangster looking for vengeance. John (Sammo Hung) is a lifer seeking to reunite with his son.
The film had a cut-down release in Hong Kong, but a longer uncut Taiwanese version was also released and fans are hoping this version is also on this release.
This will also have great bonus features which are to be announced later.
