Trinity Cine Asia is set to release the new crime thriller The Goldfinger onto Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK.
Inspired by true events and set during the 1980s, The Goldfinger follows the rise and fall of a multi-billion-dollar company and its chairman Henry Ching (Tony Leung), who undergoes a major investigation led by an elite anti-corruption investigator, Lau Kai-Yuen (Andy Lau). The result is a relentless and intriguing 15-year investigation in pursuit of the truth.
Reuniting Tony Leung and Andy Lau with their Infernal Affairs co-writer Felix Chong (The Silent War, Overheard), now directing, this bold new film is a sweeping, stunning tale of greed and excess. The Goldfinger has just taken six prizes at the 2024 Hong Kong Film Awards, the most wins for any single film this year, including Best Actor for Tony Leung, his sixth accolade at the annual ceremony.
