Many Hong Kong action film fans, especially those in the UK have been spoilt by remastered special edition Blu-ray releases from Eureka and 88 Films. Many fans in the USA have imported from the UK but many can only play Region A titles and most of the 88 titles were region B. But In the past few months, 88 Films have started to release titles in the USA also so for the many American fans of Hong Kong action I have decided to list what has been released so far and coming soon.
Some classic Shaw Brothers titles such as Martial Club, Legendary Weapons of China, Shaolin Mantis, Disciples of Shaolin, Monkey Kung Fu, Chinese Boxer, Flying Guillotine Part 2, Hero, Flag of Iron and Human Lanterns have been released. They also have some great new releases coming soon, starting with a UHD and Blu-ray releases of Police Story 3 Supercop starring Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh and Dragons Forever with Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung. Another Jackie Chan movie Gorgeous is also coming soon as well as the Michelle Yeoh action classic Magnificent Warriors.
Im sure many more will continue to be released in the USA which will please many Hong Kong action film fans.
