88 Films in the USA is going to release a new remastered Blu-Ray of the classic swordplay film Duel to the Death directed by Ching Siu Tung.
The film is set in feudal China, and the story follows a Chinese master swordsman chosen to represent China in a ritualised duel against Japan’s finest warrior. Ostensibly a contest of honour, the duel is secretly manipulated by corrupt officials and shadowy clans seeking power and control. As assassins, traps, and betrayals close in, Bo uncovers the truth behind the deadly spectacle and is forced to fight not just for victory, but for survival and integrity.
This was released on region B Blu-Ray in the UK by Eureka, but this is the first time in the USA and will have the following special features –
